What each one does well
각 제품이 잘하는 점
- OneTab has the largest user base here and a plain text export that many other tools, TabBunker included, can read. It has been around long enough to have a documented troubleshooting path, and it ships in 48 languages.
- Session Buddy has the highest rating of the group with the most reviews, exports in more than 15 formats, and publishes data-location and backup documents that make manual recovery possible.
- Tab Session Manager already covers automatic save, automatic file backup, and cloud sync through Google Drive, is open source, and runs on all three browsers. Its focus is sessions and window state rather than a one-click list, which suits people who want whole windows back.
- TheTab combines scheduled daily or weekly file backups with a bookmark mirror and a crash snapshot, imports from three other tools, and was updated the day before we checked. It supports 55 languages.
- Toby syncs through the cloud, so a list saved on one computer shows up on another, and it has a large user base for a product with a paid plan.
- TabBunker writes the backup file after every change rather than on a schedule, shows a preview before restore and import, is open source, and uses a small permission set with no host permissions. Chrome, Edge, and Firefox from the same code.

- TabBunker는 정해진 시각이 아니라 변경이 있을 때마다 백업 파일을 쓰고, 복원과 가져오기 전에 미리보기를 보여 주며, 오픈소스이고, 호스트 권한 없이 적은 권한만 씁니다. 같은 코드로 크롬·엣지·파이어폭스를 지원합니다.
- It is new. At the time of writing it is not in any store, so it has no user count, no rating, and no track record.
- No sync. There is no server, so a list on one computer does not appear on another. You copy the JSON file by hand.
- No Safari. In Firefox, saved tabs show a domain initial instead of a favicon.
- The interface is in English and Korean only, against 32 to 55 languages for some of the others.
- The file backup can be switched off, only covers changes made after install, and does not help with a failing disk or a deleted Downloads folder.
- 신규 제품입니다. 이 글을 쓰는 시점에 어느 스토어에도 올라가 있지 않아 사용자 수도 평점도 사용 이력도 없습니다.

- 화면 언어는 영어와 한국어뿐입니다. 다른 제품 일부는 32개에서 55개 언어를 지원합니다.
- 파일 백업은 끌 수 있고, 설치 이후의 변경만 담으며, 디스크 고장이나 다운로드 폴더 삭제에는 도움이 되지 않습니다.
Which one fits which need
어떤 경우에 어떤 제품이 맞나
- You want the list on more than one computer. Tab Session Manager (Google Drive) or Toby (its own cloud). TabBunker has no sync.
- You want whole windows and sessions back, not just a list. Tab Session Manager.
- You want a backup file on a schedule plus a bookmark copy. TheTab.
- You are happy with OneTab or Session Buddy and only want a safety copy. Export on a schedule and keep the file outside the browser profile. If something has already gone wrong, start with the recovery guide.
- You want a file written after every change, a preview before anything is restored, and no account. TabBunker.
- 목록을 여러 컴퓨터에서 보고 싶다. Tab Session Manager(Google Drive) 또는 Toby(자체 클라우드). TabBunker에는 동기화가 없습니다.
- 목록이 아니라 창과 세션을 통째로 되살리고 싶다. Tab Session Manager.
- 정해진 주기의 백업 파일과 북마크 사본을 원한다. TheTab.
- OneTab이나 Session Buddy가 만족스럽고 안전한 사본만 필요하다. 정기적으로 내보내고 파일을 브라우저 프로필 밖에 두세요. 이미 문제가 생겼다면 복구 안내부터 보세요.

Free and open source. Choose the tabs you want, then save and close them or save them without closing. With file backup on, each change writes a JSON copy to Downloads/TabBunker. Imports OneTab text and Session Buddy JSON with a preview, so you can keep your old extension installed until the vault looks right.

확인 방법
On 2026-09-16 we opened each product's Chrome Web Store page and recorded the user count, version, update date, language count, and the backup and export features described there. Toby's pricing comes from its official pricing page. Tab Session Manager's open source status and backup folder come from its public repository. TabBunker's entries come from its source code and README. We did not install and test the other products for this page, which is why several cells say "not checked". If you make one of these products and a cell is wrong, open an issue and it will be fixed with the new date noted.
